Finally here

It's here!!!!!

It is a hand forged cable damascus tomahawk (it will be finished this week). We were hoping to raffle it off and guess what, it is illegal in the state of Tennessee if you are not a charitable organization. So since we can't do what we wanted to do I am going to sale it at what it is worth. So here are some of the pics of it.

Ice Cream Scoop

The first ice cream scoop was patented on February 2, 1897 by Alfred Cralle. This is not that ice cream scoop. I made my first ice cream scoop one day this year at my wife's request (because ice cream is one of her most favoritest things in the world). And I did a demo of the scoop in May.
Here are a few pictures of the demo, as well a recently sold scoop on Etsy.

(Below is an ice cream scoop I recently sold on Etsy)

Back to the Blog

Welp, I have been out of the blogosphere (umm, what is a blogosphere - LOL-no really what is it) for a while. Been busy at work and on Etsy. Also working on some fundraising (stay tuned for more details).

I got a lot to say so I will be doing alot of catch up work here in the coming days.

A POEM I WROTE

THE WAY OF THE BLACKSMITH

The smell of sulfur flows through the air, as thick black smoke ascends and fills the room.
Flames of red and orange break through engulfing the darkness!
The heat rises bringing the iron from its true color to one that is necessary
I ready myself to work!
Rescuing the glowing rod of yellow from its fiery hell and delivering it upon the anvil, and with powerful strikes from my hammer I force the material to alter its shape to one of my choosing
Some do not see the beauty in a piece of metal
Some do not see the majesty of a coal-burning fire
Some make their art with clay and paint
I create my masterpiece by the forge
